News from Children's Book Circle, Sri Lanka

"Our Environment program will focus on 20th in Colombo.
There will be a big plant procession. The children will start
their procession from Kannangara College to city Police station.
We plant some trees their and return to college and plant the rest.

This is initial program and after that we send this message to 400
Police stations, 700 children's reading centers and children libraries
and schools. Environ Ministry donate us valuable plants. Mr. Riency
Perera, SSP, Director , Police Public Relations help us to success this
national valued program. Media will help us to take this message to
the national. We'll post our photos and video clips later.

CLIMATE CHANGES;

Last week we had largest earth-slips and flood in the
recent history. Over 25 people died and about 400
people were injured. Over 200,000 people were displaced.
