The March of Frogs in Segev Shalom, Israel

The Alnoor Elementary School
in
Segev Shalom, Israel has joined
the campaign of Climate Change
and participated with their 5th
and 6th grades in the March of Frogs,
on January 17th. It was a sunny
and warm day and all participants
were happy.

After learning about the climate
change globally and locally, the
students prepared posters with
pledges to save the environment
and diminish the global warming effect.

They also prepared paper crown with the picture of Frank the frog that
they wore during the march. Some of the students hold the frog banks,
made during their art classes. They walked on the streets with happy
faces and the hope that their message will reach the people in their town.

Teacher of environmental science, Yiad Hagazi was responsible for
translating the material into Arabic and organizing the March of the Frogs.
He was joined by homeroom teachers, art teachers and science teachers.
The supervisor of Agriculture and Environmental Studies in the District
was the honor guest on the event.
