White Christmas in Joensuu, Finland?

Since my childhood we have had white Christmas here every year. Normally we have
our first snow in late October (like this year and we had it 25 cm but it melt).

In 1996 (8DEC) and 2000 (16DEC) permanent snow came very late. Normally in
my region the snow depth should be about 30 cm now. But no snow. Average
temperature in December is -7,5C. But this December our temperatures have
varied from 0 to 8C. This is really abnormal. Will this Christmas be my first
without snow?
