An active week in Galati, Romania!

Students and teacher from our school, National College "Mihail Kogalniceanu"
from Galati, Romania) will take part in the following activities during the
Campaign week 15-21 Jan 2007:

1. On 16 Jan 2007 at a contest named "Workshop" where students will show
   our school, their pledges , Frank The Frog, mascot for the campaign and will
   make a poster with it, from recyclable materials. This contest is being held by
   Grupul Scolar "Radu Negru" and are participating students from all the schools
   from our city especially who joined ENO Climate Change Campaign.
2. On 17 Jan 2007 at 13.00 we are taking part at The March Of Frogs. Our starting
   point is Palatul Telefoanelor, than along Brailei Street, accompanied by School
   nr. 2. At this march our students will distribute their pledges to the local people
   both on street and in institutions (Transilvania Bank, Leumi Bank, Commercial Bank,
   Raifeisen Bank and Vodafone). The students will wear placards with Frank The Frog
   mascot and green helium balloons. At the end of the march, students will release
   the balloons out. Each and every one of them will carry out across the world our
   pledges, witch are tied from the balloons' string.
3. On 18 Jan 2007, our school will host "Urban pollution", a contest organized by
   teachers Ms. Popescu Madalina, Ms. Ganea Mariana, Ms. Bulgaru Mariana.
   At this contest will take past students from schools from our town especially
   those who joined ENO Climate Change Campaign. Students will present projects
   regarding, causes and effects of urban pollution.
