An introduction of Frank The Frog
eno-eno-eno! I am Frank The Frog. I was invited to take part in the ENO Programme. This topic is very actual for me and other species because climate change has an influence on flora and fauna in the world. It is a global problem.
My job is to encourage people to make and collect pledges , both online and offline. You can make your pledges already online in the Frank's Web Bank . We will also arrange "The March of Frogs" together with students around the world. This wil be carried out 16th of February 2011. You are welcome to join the campaign.
I have also sung my message and you can listen my song for the campaign here. The music and notes sheet will be available as well. I hope you will see me and listen this song in MTV...
Come on and join the campaign. No matter if you are a frog or a human being, the climate change is our common problem.

Co-operation and partners
The focus for the climate change is on the grassroot level. It is a global problem, and yet each one of us has the power to make a difference. Even small changes in our daily behaviour can help prevent greenhouse emissions without affecting our quality of life. In fact, they can save us money.
We do this theme and campaign in co-operation with our national climate change campaign here in Finland . The European Commission launched the climate change campaign in June 2006. They have their website in 19 languages. We use their motto "You Control The Climate Change".
As in the ENO programme we work in co-operation with UNEP we have included their children and youth activities into this theme. As ozone is a topic related to theme we will study about ozone also using UNEP OzoneAction Education Pack. UNEP has also organised a painting contest (by 31DEC 2006) .
We have also separately invited some school networks (UNESCO ASPnet, GLOBE Programme, Eco Schools, European Schoolnet etc.) to join this event.

About theme and campaign
ENO-Environment Online is a global virtual school for sustainable
development where currently 500 schools in 104 countries study
same environmental issues around the world. Students gather
information about their local environment through online and offline
activities. Please see more about ENO on the web.
Our theme from November 2008 to December 2009 is climate change.
This time it is open to public at large, especially for schools and youth
groups. The mascot of the campaign is Frank The Frog.
You can choose the activities that suits best for you. They are both for
elementary and secondary school levels. All we ask from your side is
to register for this event. It is easy. Welcome, get involved in our activities
and share your thoughts with us. You control the climate change.
